2012
2011 was a great year and one we'll definitely remember as a year of breakthroughs. Heather with her 2 Ironman wins (4 total now), two new course records, and a top 10 in Kona. Trevor with a great 8 hr 22 min Ironman finish and a new Ironman run split PB of 2:51.
In the training department for 2012, we'll continue to work hard with The Triathlon Squad and coach Paulo Sousa. Our first camp is January 13th in Las Cruces, NM. From there, we'll be heading to San Diego and St. George, until we hit Canadian soil again sometime at the end of June. Our racing schedule this year will see some changes, mainly in the form of new venues. Check the tentative race schedule below.
And the RV?? Well, that's here for 2012 as well. Our first night in the RV with no place else to go was early September 2008. There are times where we want out of this beast, but the positives of our life in a mobile home (no matter how cramped it is), still outweigh the benefits of a more permanent solution. At least that's what we keep telling ourselves!!
